First lesson in Japan, when catching a train from the airport try to get on the one marked "Rapid Transit" not the suburban train that stops at every station on the line. Thankfully a very nice Japanese gentleman pointed this out for us and we were able to correct our mistake without to much fuss. As of yet there are no photos, the trip from the airport to our hotel was through the darkness of a humid autumn evening and not conducive to photography.
On a brighter note our hotel has a drink vending machine that dispenses beer, in fact I write this while drinking my "Kirin Tanrei - Brewed for Good Times!" A perfect beer nightcap.
I think the first thing everyone does when they get to japan is get beer from a vending machine, I know we did!
