Osaka Aquarium

Our first major attraction in Japan, the Osaka Aquarium, home to two whale sharks! This place is huge, the design is centered around one enormous tank containing the two whales sharks along with schools of fish sharks and several large rays.

Around the edges were tanks and exhibits with other types of fishes and mammals whether exotic such as the Caypabara (giant rat) or less so like the ducks. Plenty of windows at different levels ensured you could seen them swimming or chilling our on the rocks.

There were also thousands of people, the place was packed to capacity.

Although the whale sharks were defiantly the stars of the show below are a couple of my favorites.

It's me and Nemo, and another Nemo and then another one...

  3. We did go on a ferris wheel near the aquarium, however we might go and find the one you suggested tonight or perhaps tomorrow will have to see how things pan out.

  5. Sorry Jade, I don't follow. There weren't mirrors in the Jelly Fish tank the reflection is just the tank surface bending light or something.
